Empowering Your Team for Peak Plant Performance
IAC’s Industrial Training Services give plant personnel the skills and confidence to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex air pollution control and material handling systems. Each seminar is designed around real-world applications and taught by experienced IAC engineers who bring decades of field and OEM expertise.
Through focused, hands-on instruction, participants learn how to improve system efficiency, reduce emissions, and maintain regulatory compliance. Training helps extend equipment life, prevent costly downtime, and create a safer, cleaner work environment.
Programs can be tailored to your facility’s specific equipment and processes, ensuring every session delivers measurable value for your operations.
Customized Training Built Around Your Equipment
No two plants operate exactly alike, which is why IAC tailors each training session to your systems and team. Before the seminar, IAC engineers can review your facility’s ventilation and dust collection setup to identify areas of focus. Course content is then adjusted to align with your maintenance needs, operating conditions, and performance goals.
Topics typically include ventilation system design and airflow fundamentals, baghouse types and operation, filter media selection, troubleshooting methods, and maintenance scheduling. Training can also cover regulatory compliance, emission control best practices, and data recording for audits.
Sessions are available on-site or off-site, with flexible scheduling to minimize production interruptions and ensure your staff gains practical, applicable knowledge.
Comprehensive Course Topics
IAC’s training programs address every stage of industrial ventilation and dust collection system performance and upkeep. A typical one-day seminar may include:
- Ventilation Systems: Airflow fundamentals, enclosure design, and hood performance.
- Filtration Equipment: Overview of baghouses, cyclones, scrubbers, and precipitators.
- Baghouse Operation and Maintenance: Operation of pulse jet, reverse air, and shaker systems, routine inspection procedures, and maintenance best practices to extend filter life.
- Filter Media and Membranes: Material selection, application limits, and cleaning techniques.
- System Optimization: Proper startup and shutdown procedures, monitoring differential pressure, troubleshooting, and scheduling preventive maintenance.
These courses help plant personnel operate systems efficiently, maintain compliance, and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and informed operation.
Flexible Delivery and On-Site Training Options
IAC offers flexible formats to accommodate your team’s schedule and operational needs. Training can be held at your facility, a regional IAC service location, or through a hybrid setup that combines classroom instruction with live equipment demonstrations. On-site seminars provide the advantage of learning in the actual plant environment, where operators can apply new techniques immediately.
Before each session, IAC’s engineers can perform a brief walk-through to evaluate current system conditions and tailor instruction to your equipment and production goals. Training materials, documentation, and maintenance checklists are provided for future reference, helping reinforce long-term best practices.
Programs can be delivered in English or Spanish and are designed to minimize disruption to your plant’s operations while maximizing employee engagement and knowledge retention.
Integrated Support Beyond Training
IAC’s training services are part of a complete lifecycle approach to plant optimization. Following each seminar, your team has access to ongoing technical support, inspection services, and performance assessments to keep systems operating efficiently.
For plants seeking deeper partnership, IAC can coordinate follow-up services such as system audits, baghouse inspections, burner tuning, and process optimization. These programs extend the value of training by turning new knowledge into measurable operational improvements.
When combined with IAC’s nationwide Field Services and Maintenance Programs, your personnel gain both the skills and the support needed to sustain safe, compliant, and high-performing operations.

IAC STAINLESS STEEL BAGHOUSEWASTE REPLACMENT FOR A WASTE-TO-ENERGY PLANT – 2017
IAC contracted with a Waste-to-Energy facility adjacent to a US Army Arsenal to remove and install 12 baghouse modules. The facility processes 690 tons of solid waste and sewage sludge per day, producing energy for the arsenal’s heating and air conditioning needs. The facility opened in 1990 and when it was determined that the original two baghouses needed to be replaced, IAC was awarded an EPC contract in April, 2017 to design, supply and install the new baghouses.
Single Pass Separator Project
IAC was awarded a $50 million EPC contract to supply a variety of systems at the Drake Cement, Greenfield, Arizona Plant.
The install included silos, clinker handling, conveyors, waste product silo and additional fugitive collection systems for each.
This project required construction trades on site for over a five year period. The project incorporates $20 million EPC contract for a High Efficiency Separator.
