Leadership & Legacy

IAC’s foundation is built on the experience and vision of Glenn Smith, Jr., founder and CEO of IAC and Adelphi Construction, LC. With nearly 50 years in the air pollution control and bulk material handling industries, Glenn has helped shape many of the technologies and standards that drive industrial performance today.

Before founding IAC in 1987, Glenn served in executive leadership roles within the air pollution control and pneumatic conveying industries, where he helped transform emerging technologies into global standards for industrial performance. That experience shaped his vision for IAC. A vertically integrated EPC model, a company built to unite engineering, OEM manufacturing, and field construction into one seamless solution.

His leadership continues to guide IAC’s global operations and the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and customer partnership.

Adelphi Construction – Field Construction Expertise

As IAC’s wholly owned construction company, Adelphi Construction, LC extends our engineering and fabrication capabilities into complete industrial construction services. For more than 25 years, Adelphi has delivered fast-track, high-quality construction and installation for complex EPC projects across North America.

Adelphi’s skilled mechanical, electrical, and civil crews specialize in field erection, foundations, structural steel, process piping, and equipment installation. Their experience ensures every project phase from groundworks to commissioning is executed safely, efficiently, and to IAC’s stringent quality standards.

Operating as an integrated part of IAC’s EPC model, Adelphi eliminates the delays and cost overruns that come with outsourcing. This unified structure allows IAC to maintain total project control, streamline communication, and accelerate delivery without sacrificing precision or safety.

Aftermarket Sales & Field Service Expertise

Our commitment to customers continues long after project completion. IAC’s Aftermarket Parts Sales Engineers and Field Service Crews ensure that every system we build, and those from other OEMs, operates at peak performance for years to come.

With an inventory of more than 55,000 OEM-quality parts and filters, our Sales Engineers provide fast, accurate support to help facilities minimize downtime and extend equipment life. They work directly with our engineering and fabrication teams to identify solutions tailored to each system’s design and performance requirements.

Our nationwide Field Service Crews bring decades of hands-on experience to every site. From baghouse inspections and filter bag change-outs to mechanical repairs, system evaluations, and performance optimization, these teams deliver responsive, professional service that keeps industrial plants running safely and efficiently.
