How Modular Pulse Jet Baghouses Compare
When selecting an industrial dust collection system, choosing the right configuration is critical to balancing performance, footprint, and cost. IAC offers a full suite of baghouse designs, each suited to specific application demands. Here’s how our Modular Pulse Jet Baghouses stand apart from other models in our portfolio:
| Feature/Model | Modular Pulse Jet | M-Pulse Jet | Reverse Air | Cartridge Dust Collector |
| Best for | Fast deployment, limited space | High-dust loading, large flow | Continuous operations, lower maintenance | Fine particulate, low airflow |
| Installation Time | Short (modular sections) | Moderate | Longer (field-fabricated) | Short |
| Cleaning Mechanism | Compressed air (pulse) | Compressed air (multi-zone) | Reverse airflow | Pulse air |
| Filter Access | Top or side load | Walk-in plenum | Walk-in or rear access | Side or top load |
| Space Requirements | Compact footprint | Larger footprint | High vertical clearance | Very compact |
| Application Fit | Cement, mining, biomass | Power gen, bulk processing | Lime kilns, older retrofits | Light industrial, process enclosures |
Key Takeaway:
Modular Pulse Jet Baghouses are ideal for facilities that need fast-track installation, system scalability, and compliance-ready dust control without sacrificing performance. Compared to field-welded units or reverse air collectors, modular units reduce on-site labor and commissioning time—making them a preferred solution for both retrofits and greenfield builds.

IAC STAINLESS STEEL BAGHOUSEWASTE REPLACMENT FOR A WASTE-TO-ENERGY PLANT – 2017
IAC contracted with a Waste-to-Energy facility adjacent to a US Army Arsenal to remove and install 12 baghouse modules. The facility processes 690 tons of solid waste and sewage sludge per day, producing energy for the arsenal’s heating and air conditioning needs. The facility opened in 1990 and when it was determined that the original two baghouses needed to be replaced, IAC was awarded an EPC contract in April, 2017 to design, supply and install the new baghouses.
Single Pass Separator Project
IAC was awarded a $50 million EPC contract to supply a variety of systems at the Drake Cement, Greenfield, Arizona Plant.
The install included silos, clinker handling, conveyors, waste product silo and additional fugitive collection systems for each.
This project required construction trades on site for over a five year period. The project incorporates $20 million EPC contract for a High Efficiency Separator.
