Business Development Representative – Account Development

Position Overview:

IAC, Industrial Accessories Company, Mission, KS, is looking for a dynamic Business Development Professional. In this role, you will work with the business development, marketing, aftermarket parts, and field services groups. This role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can quickly become familiar with a wide range of equipment, replacement parts, and field services for promotion in the industrial marketplace. This position is non-commission and supports our sales team in lead generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct targeted business-to-business outbound calls, averaging 350 a week
  • Qualify leads for large projects, replacement parts, and field services while leveraging marketing messages
  • Schedule meetings for the field service sales team
  • Conduct research on targeted industries and/or projects
  • Meet and exceed weekly lead quota

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong performer with a proven drive to succeed
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance many different marketing campaigns running simultaneously
  • Proven track record of developing new business via effective outbound calling efforts
    Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills: ability and willingness to do whatever is required to meet weekly and monthly goals set by management

Baghouse Technician

Position Overview:

IAC is a manufacturer of dust collector systems located in Mission, KS.  Our equipment includes baghouse collectors, wet scrubbers, explosion /fire protection equipment, airlocks, pneumatic and vacuum conveying systems, and fans.

We are seeking a local Greater Kansas City area Baghouse Technician that has the ability to travel out of state, when needed, to install industrial filtration parts and service equipment at customer locations.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to be certified and wear protective respiratory equipment and all associated Safety PPE (Protective Personnel Equipment).
  • Consent to work in sometimes hazardous environments (temperature, noise, lead, silica) utilizing proper PPE.
  • Participate in IAC and site-specific safety trainings.
  • Be trained in confined space procedures (current certificates or training a plus).
  • Availability to travel away from KC Metro area 25-50% of the time.
  • Ability to work varying hours (night, weekend and Holidays) when needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation for working within 100 miles of Kansas City.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Skilled in the safe use of various hand and power tools.
  • Must have the ability to respond and adjust to changing or new situations. Work well in high stress situations and maintain professionalism in dealing with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in high/precarious places, climbing ladders to heights above grade.

Mechanical Designer-Drafter

Position Overview:

The Mechanical Designer-Drafter performs drafting functions for development of new and existing products using Autodesk Suite (AutoCAD) software.  He/she may also be required to draft as-built equipment and to update Bills of Material (BOM).  Candidates should be proficient preparing mechanical drawings, layout drawings, parts/materials lists and 3-D models. Be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in related field or equivalent and 5-8 years drafting experience in industrial mechanical engineering, or
  • No degree with 8-12 years of relevant drafting experience.
  • Proficient in rapid equipment design/drafting using AutoCAD (version 2010+).
  • Inventor and/or Solidworks experience is a plus.

Structural Designer

Project Manager – Field Services

Position Overview:

Project Manager for Aftermarket Field Services. Focus will be execution of Field Services orders/projects for IAC Aftermarket Sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive Field Services  skilled maintenance and engineering services to meet business metrics for Aftermarket execution

  • Ensure all close out paperwork is complete to allow timely billing for completed services.
  • Coordinate with project management on lessons learned from executed projects to maximize margin on future projects.

• Partner with sales engineers to obtain necessary information to properly evaluate and scope projects.
• Work with cross-functional teams and managers to streamline business processes.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant electrical estimating experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field a plus. Construction Science or Construction Management, preferred
  • CPE Certified Professional Estimator a plus
  • PMP a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Project
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, or other related Construction Management software
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to be on jobsites as required, travel expectations 10-20%
  • Willingness to have availability after hours, weekends and holidays as required by project needs

Position Overview:

A “Buyer” will process quotes for the inside sales staff, track and report all quote inquiries, and purchase products and services for the IAC Aftermarket Team. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales with sourcing, quoting, and the expediting of vendor orders
  • Process quote requests with an average turn-around time of 24 hours
  • Perform contract review and enter orders into QuoteWerks
  • Track and report all quote inquiries
  • Gather information from Sales and Vendors to resolve product questions
  • Maintain Vendor database information in all systems
  • Update costs and part numbers in QuoteWerks

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with existing vendors for Aftermarket Sales
  • Analyze different product options (cost, quality, delivery) during quote fulfillment
  • Inform the Aftermarket team of price changes, extended lead times, or changes in the market place that will affect Sales
  • Notify the Project, Service, and/or Purchasing Manager during the quoting process on complex projects
  • Perform all other Purchasing activities

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of quote fulfillment experience
  • Familiarity with industrial sales a plus
  • Strong attention to detail required
